About the Project

Give Kids the World is a nonprofit organization based in Orlando, FL, dedicated to creating magical experiences for children with critical illnesses and their families. The Amazing Race Orlando team is producing the Amazing Race Orlando series (Season Three), and all footage has already been filmed. We are now seeking a talented Video Editor to bring the story to life.

Role Overview

As the Video Editor, you will have full creative control in shaping the narrative, pacing, and final look of the project. Using the provided raw footage, your job is to review, edit, and deliver a compelling finished product that captures the excitement and heart of Amazing Race Orlando.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize pre-filmed footage.

• Edit and assemble video content into a cohesive and engaging final product.

• Add transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics where needed.

• Ensure consistency in pacing, tone, and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing (portfolio or demo reel required).

• Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).

• Strong storytelling and pacing skills.

• Ability to work independently with creative freedom while honoring the vision of a nonprofit project.

• Experience with nonprofit or event-based video editing (preferred but not required).
